First political consultation meeting held with Jordan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held their first political consultation meeting on October 23 in Amman, Jordan.

The meeting was co-chaired by A.Anand, Director of the Department of America, the Middle East, and Oceania of Mongolia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mohamed Abu Wandi, Director General of the Department of Asia of Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the consultations, both sides exchanged information on the political, social, and economic situations in their respective countries and agreed to further develop bilateral relations in mutually beneficial sectors, including food, agriculture, energy, culture, and education. They also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry and promote engagement among business communities.

The parties shared perspectives on international relations and regional issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration within the United Nations and other international organizations.

Dhaifallah Al-Fayez is the Secretary General of Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with the Mongolian delegation and exchanged views on enhancing cooperation and relations between the two countries.

As part of the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Jordan. The agreement was signed by Ambassador E.Bulgan, Attache of Mongolia to Jordan, and Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan.
