The “Golden Autumn 2026” expanded potato and vegetable market has been operating at 18 locations across Ulaanbaatar’s nine districts since August, providing residents with locally grown produce and helping increase vegetable supplies for the autumn, winter and spring seasons.

The initiative aims to ensure a stable supply of potatoes and vegetables grown on domestic soil, while creating opportunities for residents to stock up on and preserve fresh produce for the colder months. It is also intended to increase the overall supply of locally produced vegetables in the capital.

A wide range of newly harvested products, including potatoes, vegetables, fresh herbs, fruits and sea buckthorn, are being sold directly by farmers and growers at the designated locations. The expanded vegetable markets will remain open until November 1, after which all 18 sales locations will close for the season.
