‘Early Reading’ service operates until June 15

The Special Needs Reading Room at the branch library of the National Library of Mongolia has introduced a new service titled “Early Reading”, available from April 1 to June 15.

Under this initiative, the reading room opens its doors to visitors starting at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays, offering readers the opportunity to make productive use of the early hours of the day. The service is designed to support individuals who prefer or require a quieter and more flexible study environment in the morning.

The facility features a modern, comfortable setting equipped with wireless internet and four computers for digital use. Visitors are also welcome to bring and use their own laptops and reading materials, further enhancing accessibility and convenience.

In addition, users can access a wide range of digital resources, including over 1,000 e-books available through Kindle devices, 37 audiobooks for listening-based learning, and tablets containing more than 1,000 Russian-language books. These resources aim to support diverse learning needs and promote inclusive access to knowledge.

The Special Needs Reading Room operates on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ensuring consistent and accessible service. Officials note that the “Early Reading” program is intended to help readers manage their time more effectively while encouraging a culture of regular reading and lifelong learning.
