The Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of the Third State Central Hospital is organising an “Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Week” campaign from October 12 to 16, to raise public awareness of the importance of anaesthesia and intensive care services.
Anaesthesia and intensive care play a vital role in managing pain during surgery, supporting the functions of vital organs in critically ill patients and saving lives. Through the campaign, the hospital aims to help the public better understand these services, provide accurate information on patient safety and highlight the professional work of doctors and nurses in these specialised fields.
The campaign officially opened and will feature a series of public education activities, consultations, training sessions and presentations throughout the week. The programme will cover several themes, including Doctors’ Day, a day dedicated to the public, Nursing Day and New Technology Day.
The activities are intended to improve health literacy and help people better understand the role of anaesthesia and intensive care in ensuring patient safety and delivering effective medical treatment.
