An athlete from Strong Club B.Shinechimeg has been crowned an Asian champion after winning the women’s 76-kilogram category in the bench press event at the Asian Powerlifting Championships held in Istanbul, Turkey. Competing among Mongolia’s female athletes at the continental championship, B.Shinechimeg claimed first place in the bench press, securing the gold medal in her weight category.

A winner of several domestic competitions and previously named one of the country’s top athletes, B.Shinechimeg has continued to make her mark on the international stage. In 2023, she won a silver medal at the Asia Pacific Africa Classic and Equipped Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships held in South Africa, an event organized by the unified weightlifting and powerlifting federation of countries across the Asia-Pacific and African regions.

The following year, she traveled to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to compete at the Asian Powerlifting Championships, where she finished first in the senior category. In 2025, Shinechimeg stepped up to the 84-kilogram weight class at the “Classic Powerlifting” international competition in Cyprus, where she won the gold medal.

Her latest continental title adds another major achievement to her growing international record and highlights her continued success in women’s powerlifting.
