Mongolia has ranked among the leading countries in several categories in the Global Tourism Report for the first half of 2026, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth. The report ranked Mongolia fourth among the best-performing countries in the Asia-Pacific region, with a 39 percent growth rate.

Mongolia also ranked second among the markets with the strongest growth in tourism spending, recording a 29 percent increase. In terms of tourism revenue, the country ranked third with a 27 percent increase. Meanwhile, Mongolia placed fourth among the world’s 20 highest-performing countries, posting 39 percent growth.

The rankings highlight Mongolia’s strong performance in tourism during the first half of the year and reflect continued growth in both tourism spending and revenue.
