The eighth edition of the Ulaanbaatar Walking Festival concluded on August 23 after bringing together more than 700 participants from Mongolia and abroad for three days of walking and cultural exchange in Ulaanbaatar City and Gorkhi-Terelj National Park.
The festival, held from August 21 to 23, attracted 110 international guests and delegates from Australia, China, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, and Tajikistan, along with more than 600 participants from Mongolia.
Organised jointly by the Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department and the Mongolian Walking Association, the annual festival has continued to expand in scale and international participation. Beyond promoting walking as a healthy and active lifestyle, the event has provided an opportunity for participants from different countries and regions to connect, exchange experiences and strengthen friendship and cultural ties.
