Representatives of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the Fifth Asian Mining Innovation and Development Summit Forum, the most influential gathering of the Asian mining industry, held in China.
The delegation was led by CEO of the Chamber Ts.Magnaibaatar and Head of the Chamber Representative Office in China O.Amarbold. This year’s forum concluded with a high-level meeting discussing avenues for coordinated development of regional investment, financing and technological innovation under the theme “Determining New Opportunities for Mining Growth Abroad through the Dual Engine of Mining and Finance.
Ts.Magnaibaatar delivered a speech at the sub-session on Mongolia’s mining investment environment, presenting in detail to major foreign investors the current investment climate, policy trends in the mining sector, legal reforms, and new opportunities opening up within the framework of public-private partnerships. He emphasized the country’s strategic mineral resources, the role they play in the sustainable development of the region, and the advantages of long-term cooperation. His address drew significant attention from conference participants.
The two-day forum covered a wide range of topics beyond mining alone, including the digital transformation of the mining sector, green development policies, new international financing mechanisms, and cross-border investment issues. Business meetings organized on the sidelines of the forum provided a real and concrete opportunity for international companies and investors to establish mutually beneficial partnerships, further strengthening the prospect of expanded cross-border cooperation in the mining and finance sectors.
