The Seventh Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania were held. The meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.

The consultations, chaired by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Munkhtushig and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Vidmantas Verbickas, provided a platform for both sides to exchange views on political, social, economic, and foreign policy priorities. Discussions focused on ways to deepen cooperation in areas such as international freight transport and logistics, while also exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration in education, culture, and agriculture.

Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to working closely within the United Nations and other international organizations. They also agreed to accelerate negotiations on bilateral agreements aimed at establishing a favorable legal framework to support the growth of Mongolia-Lithuania relations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the consultations reflected a shared interest in strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships between the two nations.
