They also emphasized the need to diversify trade, increase bilateral trade volume to 500 million USD, and launch joint projects in sectors such as agriculture, transportation, light industry, and education.
Minister Nurtleu highlighted Kazakhstan’s global ranking in information technology and expressed interest in offering IT and engineering scholarships to Mongolian youth, especially from rural areas, to promote long-term cooperation in tech and innovation.
The dignitaries pledged to enhance cooperation in transport and logistics, agreeing to develop new and shorter regional routes. They also confirmed that the Mongolia–Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission would convene by the end of 2025 to further bolster bilateral cooperation in trade, science, culture, and technology.
Environmental collaboration also took center stage.
