As we reported before, Ulaanbaatar City will celebrate Capital City Day with the grand cultural festival “Khuree Tsam–Danshig Naadam 2025”, which is scheduled to take place on June 28 and 29 at Khui Doloon Khudag. The event will be organized around two main areas: one dedicated to cultural and artistic performances, and the other to commerce and public services. During the two-day celebration, over 120 officially permitted service points will operate across eight zones, where individuals and businesses will offer food and services from traditional Mongolian gers and food trucks. To maintain order and safety, open-air, unpermitted street vending will be strictly prohibited.

The festival grounds will be thoughtfully structured, with spaces showcasing the cultural heritage and ceremonial displays of Ulaanbaatar’s nine districts, while other zones will host exhibitions by food manufacturers and professional associations. The trade and food production areas will provide a wide variety of local goods and culinary experiences. Mobile food trucks will enhance convenience for visitors, and family-friendly services such as children’s play areas and baby changing facilities will ensure an inclusive experience for all ages.

In addition to the entertainment and cultural components, the festival will also feature a dedicated exhibition for small and medium-sized enterprises, giving local entrepreneurs the opportunity to present and promote their businesses to a large audience. Altogether, the “Khuree Tsam–Danshig Naadam 2025” promises to be a rich celebration of Mongolian culture, community spirit, and entrepreneurship.
