A state-of-the-art oxygen storage facility, covering an area of 10x8 meters, has been officially completed and brought into operation at Selbe Central Hospital in Sukhbaatar District. The project was funded through the district’s local investment budget as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the capital city’s healthcare infrastructure.

The new facility features a high-capacity manifold gas distribution system, capable of connecting up to 72 oxygen cylinders directly to the hospital’s centralized pipeline network. This advanced system guarantees the uninterrupted delivery of medical-grade oxygen to critical departments, including the emergency unit, intensive care unit, and other essential treatment areas that require immediate respiratory support.

The design and engineering of the oxygen storage facility were carried out by Dukat LLC, while Vankhuu LLC served as the general contractor. The Investment Department of the  Capital City provided technical oversight throughout the project to ensure all construction and safety standards were met.

This infrastructure upgrade marks a vital step forward in improving the hospital’s readiness to respond to medical emergencies and enhancing the quality of care for patients with severe respiratory conditions.
